Cakes on the Dot by Tim - (727) 507-7077

Owners Tim Knapp and Co-Owner Julianne Reyes are not new to the world of baking and cake decorating. Tim was the original owner of Cakes by Charles in Kenneth City and Julianne was one of the original owners of Artco Cake Decorating in Pinellas Park. Both of us have been in this creative career for over 20 years and have enjoyed it very much.

When Cakes on the Dot was created, it was started with the greatest Love from our friend Dorothy "Dot" Murtha. Many people might remember her from "Dotties Delights" as she used to work out of her home making many wedding and birthday cakes. Meeting Brides was a great joy for Dot as she loved to bake and cake decorate. It was a true passion for her.

Dottie was also a great friend to me and just like a second mother to Tim. She was an exceptional person who helped Tim and I with not only our professional careers, but she was also a "confidant" in our personal lives. When Dottie became ill, it was her dream to help Tim take over her business, as he was her "right hand" during her long illness. Thus came the start of Cakes on the Dot, named with great love and respect to our friend "Dot". We lost Dot in April of 2004. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
